Payment Links #
Payment Links let you collect payments without building a custom checkout or website. You create a link in the RASEDI Dashboard, share it with your customer by email, messaging apps or social media, and the customer completes payment on a secure RASEDI‑hosted page. Each link can be configured with products, pricing, quantity, payment methods and additional options such as collecting customer contact details or applying promotion codes.
1. Accessing Payment Links #
In the RASEDI Dashboard, go to Payment Links from the left‑hand menu. The Payment Links overview shows all links in your account, including their reference ID, creation date, price, selected payment gateway, status and name. From this page you can search, sort and filter links, view active and deactivated links and create new links using the Create new link button.
If your account does not yet contain any links, the table will indicate that there are no payment links and invite you to create your first one.
2. Creating a New Payment Link #
To create a new link, click New or Create new link on the Payment Links overview. You will be taken to the New Link configuration screen. This page is split into a configuration area on the left and a live payment‑page preview on the right.
2.1 Select type and link name #
At the top of the configuration area, choose the Select type for the link. The most common option is “Products or subscriptions”, which allows you to add individual products with quantities and prices. Enter a Product link name, for example “Selling a car” or the name of your service. This name will appear on the payment page and in your reporting.
2.2 Choose payment gateways #
Under Payment page, you can select the payment methods available for this link. By default, “All selected payment gateway” is enabled so that all of your configured methods appear to the customer. To customize this, click Change to open the Payment methods dialog. From here you can either keep “All Payment Gateway” selected or choose specific methods such as Card, FIB, FastPay, AsiaPay, ZainCash or NassWallet. Service fee information for each method, if applicable, is displayed next to the method name. After choosing the methods you want to offer, close the dialog and your selections will be reflected in the preview.
2.3 Add products and pricing #
In the Product section, add one or more products to be included in the payment link. For each product you can set a name, price and quantity. For example, you can create “Product 1” and “Product 2” with different prices and adjust the quantity field to calculate the total amount. The description field under the product list can be used to describe the transaction, such as “A BMW is sold to Mr. Jackman”. As you update products and quantities, the Preview panel on the right updates the subtotal, discounts, service fees and total price in real time.
If you need more than one item, use Add another product and repeat the process. You can remove or edit any product from the list at any time before creating the link.
2.4 Configure options (if available) #
Depending on your configuration, you may see additional options such as collecting the service fee from the customer, collecting the customer’s email, collecting the customer’s phone number, allowing promotion codes or limiting the number of payments accepted through the link. Enable or disable each option as needed for this particular link. These options control what fields appear on the payment page and how the transaction is priced.
2.5 Call to action #
For some link types you may be able to choose the Call to action that appears on the page, such as “Pay”, “Donate” or “Book”. This text is displayed on the primary button on the payment page.
2.6 After payment settings #
Use the After payment tab (if available) to define what happens once the customer successfully pays. You can configure a confirmation message, a redirect URL or other behavior supported by your account. This allows you to send customers back to your website or to a thank‑you page after payment is complete.
2.7 Create the link #
When you are satisfied with the configuration and the preview, click Create Link in the top‑right corner. RASEDI will generate a unique URL for the payment link. The new link will appear in your Payment Links list with its reference ID and current status.
3. Sharing a Payment Link #
Once a link has been created, you can copy the link URL from the Payment Links table or from the link‑details view. You can paste this URL into emails, invoices, SMS messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, social media posts or any other channel you use to communicate with your customers. When a customer opens the link, they will see the configured products, total price and available payment methods and can complete the payment directly.
4. Managing Existing Payment Links #
From the Payment Links overview, you can monitor and manage all existing links. Use the All Links, Active Links and Deactive Links tabs to filter by status. For each link you can view its details, including price, selected gateway and creation date, and you may have options to deactivate, reactivate or edit the link depending on your permissions. Deactivating a link prevents new payments from being created through that URL, but it does not remove historical transaction records.
5. Customer Payment Experience #
On the payment page, customers see your merchant name, the link name and the list of products with quantities and prices. They can enter required contact information such as email and phone number, then choose a payment method from the list you enabled. For card payments, the customer is redirected or presented with the appropriate card form. For local wallets or bank channels, the payment flow follows the rules of the selected provider. The total price, including any service fees and discounts, is clearly displayed before the customer confirms payment.
After payment, the customer sees a success or failure message, and if you have configured a redirect URL, they are sent back to your specified page. In your dashboard, the payment is recorded under both Payments and the relevant Payment Link, so you can track performance and reconcile transactions.
