RASEDI Forms Strategic Partnership with NASS E‑Payment

RASEDI, the Iraqi financial technology infrastructure company, has entered into a strategic partnership with NASS E‑Payment, bringing together two key players in the country’s rapidly modernizing payments landscape.

Under the agreement, RASEDI will connect its multi‑rail payment orchestration platform directly to NASS’s issuing and acquiring infrastructure, including products such as NassPay cards and NassWallet. The move is intended to give merchants and platforms using RASEDI a simpler way to accept payments from NASS’s growing consumer base, while keeping all settlements and reconciliation within RASEDI’s existing dashboard and ledger system.

Executives from both companies have framed the partnership as a step toward a more integrated national payments fabric. For RASEDI, which positions itself as a neutral infrastructure layer connecting wallets, banks, cards and alternative rails, the addition of NASS strengthens its coverage of local schemes and e‑money services. For NASS, the connection to RASEDI opens new distribution channels among merchants, software platforms and enterprise systems that want to enable multiple payment methods through a single technical integration.

The companies say work is already under way to roll out joint capabilities in stages, starting with support for online payments and payment links, followed by deeper integrations into enterprise and government use cases. If successful, the partnership could lower the barrier for small and medium‑size businesses seeking to move away from cash, while giving larger organizations a more standardized way to work with local payment providers.

Both RASEDI and NASS have indicated that the collaboration is part of a broader effort to align with the Central Bank of Iraq’s push toward electronic payments and financial inclusion. Further product announcements, including expanded acceptance channels and potential co‑branded offerings, are expected in the coming months.
